Why We Like It

The United Explorer Card has been a mainstay in Chase’s United co-branded cards for years. It earns United miles that can be used to book award tickets on United and Star Alliance partners. It also has a few perks that are useful for United flyers.

The Chase 5/24 rule applies. If you’ve opened 5+ cards from any bank that show on your personal credit report, you won’t be eligible to open the card.
